Two weeks back from our amazing trip around Vietnam and Cambodia and I guess post holiday depression has well and truly kicked in. Maybe that’s why I’m dressed head to toe in black.

Balmain did it, Michael Kors did it and Alexander Wang did it. They all featured monochromatic black and white in their 2013 Spring Summer collections. It’s such a suit-all trend and so easy to pull off.
Both my peplum top and Bardot leather look pants are from the RSPCA Port Kennedy store which stocks a really huge range of high quality pieces. During my visit there was heaps of leather and knitwear, oh and one amazing metallic Asos jumpsuit which didn’t quite fit me. So ladies I highly suggest you pop in for a visit, that jumpsuit still might be there!

This post is dedicated to Tony Faranda. The strange old man I bumped into in my grandparents front yard who vaguely knew they lived there and kept asking me in broken Italian who I was married to. I hope you enjoyed my shocking pink Zanthus knit as much as I do.
A new suburb to explore and an inability to sleep in means we were strolling around the chilly streets early this morning. I pretty much forbid the boy from wearing his beanie so I could wear mine. Because, you know, we’re not really the matchy matchy kinda couple.
I’ve had to dig deeper into the winter wardrobe the last couple of weeks and I cannot believe I haven’t shot this Camilla and Marc knit yet. I’ve worn it to death since picking it up at Milc in Dunsborough late last year and I’m pretty sure it was made for me. You can’t quite see them in these pics because my crazy curls are covering them, but it has the most amazing leather shoulder panels.
I love wearing heels, there is nothing that really finishes off an outfit like a good pair of heels. But by god, I love flats too. I do a fair bit of dashing around to and from meetings during the day and a lot of times a pair of heels just doesn’t cut it for practicality. And I didn’t realise until cleaning out my shoe collection the other day just how much I wear my flats into the ground.
That’s how I justified these little babies. Perfect for corporate or casual!

Everything about this outfit is perfection. The simplicity, the colours, the textures. Let the leather pants savings bender begin.

Leather is without doubt my favourite fabric, so you can imagine how my heart skipped a beat when I saw this amazing Quilted Leather Vest by Josh Goot. You can pre-order yours through Green With Envy by emailing email@example.com.
