I am so excited to be able to announce that I am one of 7 bloggers taking part in Perth Fashion Festival’s Restyle campaign for 2013. Restyle is now in its 5th year and is a fantastic initiative championed by PFF and supported by Lotterywest to highlight the benefits of opshopping and the value it brings to the community.
For the month of August, myself and 6 other Perth fashion bloggers will reveal how we restyle our wardrobes for less and support the community at the same time by blogging our daily opshopped outfits. Yep, that means opshopped items only for one whole month!
This year there are 7 local charities involved including Anglicare, Australian Red Cross, Good Sammy, RSPCA, Salvos Stores, Save the Children and Vinnies. I’m the lucky gal who has been teamed with RSPCA and I can’t wait to show you what I’ve got planned!
And the best part is that this year, you can get involved too. In 2013 we’re also going to be participating in a photo a day challenge which all of our readers can join along with! Stay tuned for more info on the details, they’ll be released shortly.
I had a ball taking these photos with the rest of the girls and had a small heart attack when I got to team this amazing opshopped skirt with new collection Mosman and Betts Shoes. We were so lucky to work with an amazing hair and makeup team and stylist – I’ll be posting a behind the scenes photo diary very soon so you can see all of the shenanigans.
