Return to normal programming

Wow. The last two months have been hectic to say the least. Restyle, Perth Fashion Festival, changes at work and a death in the family of someone very, very close to me… it all hit at once. I feel like my head is finally starting to rise back above water though.

On Saturday night the fashion dedicated braved the wind and rain to watch four of WA’s best designers at PFF’s Designer Capsule Two. Wild Horses kicked things off with a range of gorgeous mettalics, pastels and monochromatic black and white. Leather trim and some amazing accessories tied the collection together.

Three great shows hit the catwalk at the WA Museum last night for the Perth Fashion Festival’s National Showcase. We Are Handsome kicked things off with some quirky and fierce swimwear. Designers Indhra and Jeremy staying true to their roots with every piece being designed and made in Australia.

Perth Fashion Festival is well and truly in full swing and I was lucky enough to attend the Designer Capsule 1 last night featuring Alister Yiap, The Butcher & The Crow, Megan Salmon and Empire Rose.
