Stars & practice makes perfect

So I finally got the wireless remote shutter I ordered for my camera a million years ago which means you’re going to see lots of practice shots… sorry guys! Not sure what happened to the first pic here, can anyone say “blurry, mc-blurryson” but oh well, I’ll get there eventually.

I also got this silk shirt a million years ago too, but it seems the old star’s are making a comeback.

Summer holiday

I was singing “we’re all going on a summer holiday” in my head while sorting through these images, which is ironic considering today is the last day of summer in Aus. But don’t these beautiful pieces by Luisa Beccaria make you want to swan around the Mediterranean?

Hidden treasures

While franticly rummaging through my jewellery draw today searching for two pairs of lost earrings, I found these hidden treasures which I had temporarily forgotten about. I guess you win some, you lose some.

Luxe to less: Valentino Capretto three tone heels

I think I am well behind the eight ball with these Valentino Capretto three-tone heels. I didn’t even know Valentino did these. I saw the rmk version first and instantly fell in love and today I spotted the Valentino version in Madison magazine. I guess the Valentino version are last season’s because I can’t find them anywhere, but if you love them as much as I do, you can get the rad rmk version here.

Winter wishist

I had the sudden realisation this morning that there are only 9 official days left of Summer *insert sad face*. I’m definitely a summer girl through and through and the only thing getting me through thoughts of being cold and rainy and miserable is new winter gear! I here by declare this my winter uniform:

Cut off’s

Does anyone else look at items in their wardrobe and think “I would wear that if it didn’t have sleeves?” I’ve gotten into what some might say is a bad habit. I regularly hack into my clothes and when I say hack, I mean go at them with a pair of blunt scissors, without measuring anything, and hope for the best.

These shorts, were a pair of Zara pants I bought in Europe last year. They’d been sitting in my wardrobe, replaced with a similar Country Road pair. So I pulled them out, turned them inside out and cut off the legs just below the pockets. I guess the worst part about my hacking habit is that I never hem or finish anything, I just let the edges fray and pretend they’re supposed to be like that.
